The Data Strategy defines the requirements of the data, what data is to be stored and where, the security of the data and any legal requirements for the data.  Delays to the project will occur if the Data Strategy is defined incorrectly, making testing and acceptance difficult and the performance of the system will also be in doubt.  This Toolkit will enable the project manager to manage the data requirements.

Environments underpin any IT project delivery. Without them there will be no delivery. The environment strategy establishes what environments are required to build, test and deploy the product. A test strategy is essential to defining the test requirements and ensuring that the end product meets customer expectations. Business Requirements are a critical component of product scope definition and defining then is essential to the success of the project. Failure to define the business requirements with the appropriate stakeholders, at the right level, can be a root cause of many troubled projects.
